Frequently Asked Questions

How long will my order take?

All items (excluding Ready to Wear) are handmade by myself. I aim to get all orders dispatched within 28 days maximum, this is due to possibly awaiting delivery of materials and busy periods such as wedding & prom season. Where possible your order will be dispatched within 5-10 working days. If you need your order urgently, please message me via the contact page before placing your order, to be sure your request can be met. 

How will my order be delivered?

All jewellery orders are posted via Royal Mail UK signed for® 1st class. The Royal Mail website says 'we aim to deliver your letter/parcel the next working day and give you the added security of proof of delivery, including a signature from the receiver'. However once your parcel has been handed over to the Post Office, delivery times are out of my control. You will be given the tracking number for your order via e-mail so you may track its progress.

I don't have PayPal, can I by by credit/debit card?

You don't need to have a PayPal account to purchase from Silver Rose Bridal. When you click on the PayPal button you will be taken to a log in box, scroll to the bottom of the box and click on the 'Pay by credit/debit card' button and proceed as you usually would.

Do you accept returns/cancellations?

Non personalised orders can be cancelled and a refund issued until the order is dispatched, this will usually be within 28 days of payment being received. After the item has been sent the item must be returned to me in a resalable condition along with any gifts that are included with the item and in all the original packaging. You must contact me within 14 days of receipt of your order to arrange a return. Once the item has been returned (within 30 days) & inspected a refund/exchange will be issued by prior agreement with the buyer.

Return postage cost is payable by the buyer at the seller's normal postage rate,
except in the case of the item being faulty or damaged at the time of delivery (photographic evidence will be required) to the buyer in which instance the seller will refund any return postage costs incurred at the seller's standard rate. 

Goods being returned to me are your responsibility until they reach me and I cannot accept liability for any lost or damaged goods that you are sending back. For your own protection, I strongly recommend that you return all items to me using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods that you are returning. I ask that all items are sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery. I do not take any responsibility for items that are not delivered and request that you contact Royal Mail directly

Personalised & Custom orders cannot be returned/exchanged unless an error occurs on my side. 
If the buyer has given me incorrect details e.g. an incorrect size or colour, you will be offered an exchange. You are advised to use my colour sample service to ensure correct colour is purchased before you place your full order.

Unlike most companies I will accept returns on earrings - as they are handmade, I am able to change the ear wires, lever backs or clips.

I/my partner work for the emergency services/are in the military, how do I get my 15% off?

If you or your partner work for the Emergency Services have served or are serving in the British military, you are entitled to a 15% discount at Silver Rose Bridal as a thank you for the good that you do on a daily basis. If you feel this may apply to you please message me via the contact page with your details. I will then e-mail you back requesting photographic evidence that you or your partner are indeed entitled. Once this has been received and verified you will be sent your discount code. ***Please note, the discount code will only apply to you or your partner only***
